CarbonCares

CarbonCares is a fast, reliable and affordable way to measure and monitor soil organic carbon (SOC) stocks with the AgroCares scanner. The app generates optimal sampling locations for each field, you scan the soil on site, and the report gives the SOC stock in tonnes per hectare, plus clay and density per sample.

CarbonCares is powered by SoilCASTOR, a peer-reviewed methodology that combines a global carbon model with satellite data, proximal sensing measurements and deep-learning algorithms, backed by in-situ soil measurements from around the world. It lets you quantify annual soil organic carbon removals for compensation projects and insetting.

Project Manager (PM) licence

Gives access to both the portal and the mobile app. In the portal the Project Manager creates clients, projects and fields, acquires sampling points for those fields and, if needed, assigns fields to a Sample Taker. With the app the Project Manager performs scans. The licence is for a single user.

Sample Taker (ST) licence

Gives access to the mobile app only. The Sample Taker scans the fields or projects assigned by the Project Manager. Order one ST licence per registered Sample Taker; an ST licence cannot function without a valid PM licence.

Both are annual licences for Android devices and work exclusively with the AgroCares scanner. Available globally, with local validation in uncalibrated regions.
