Description

The AgroCares Scanner F is a portable near-infrared (NIR) sensor connected to the AgroCares databases. Paired with a licence in the AgroCares Scanner Solutions app, it determines the chemical composition of soil, feed and leaf samples on the spot, with the report on your phone within minutes.

One scanner, one app, several licences: choose SoilCares, FeedCares, LeafCares or CarbonCares depending on what you want to measure. Licences can be combined on the same device, so a soil scanner can become a feed or leaf scanner by adding a licence.

What you need to use the scanner

  • A smartphone with Android 12.0 or higher, or an iPhone 11 or higher (not included)
  • The AgroCares Scanner Solutions app, from Google Play or the App Store
  • A valid licence to activate the app
  • An internet connection

The hardware is the same for every application; the licence determines which samples you can analyse and which parameters you receive.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a licence to use the scanner?

Yes. The scanner only works together with the AgroCares Scanner Solutions app and a valid licence. Licences are sold separately in the webshop and several licences can be used on the same device.

Which phones are supported?

Android 12.0 or higher, or iPhone 11 or higher. The smartphone is not included.

What is in the box?

An aluminium case with the scanner, a calibration cap, a sample tray, a USB adaptor with a type C plug, a cleaning brush with dry-cleaning wipes and the instruction manual.
