Who are we?

AgroCares is a dynamic agri-tech company based in Wageningen. With a passionate team of business developers, agronomists, IT and R&D specialists, we deliver innovative services to help close the global food gap worldwide. We develop advanced information solutions to measure nutrients and other key parameters in soil (SoilCares), feed (FeedCares), and leafs (LeafCares), ultimately enabling sustainable yield and production improvements.

Our applications and recommendations are developed entirely in-house. Our greatest strengths lies in our diverse and expert team – including professionals in sales, operations, IT, technician’s and research & development. We strive to merge scientific knowledge with modern technology to provide fast, transparent, and affordable services.

The company has launched its own reference laboratory in 2014.
Here, the chemical and physical characteristics of worldwide collected samples of soil, leaves and feed are mapped in detail using standardised methods. Furthermore, measurements of these samples with non-destructive sensors (NIR, MIR and XRF) performed. The data are used to derive prediction models that can be performed on-site soil, leaf and animal feed research.

The reference laboratory consists of two parts. In one part the sample registration and sample preparation take place. In the second part, the samples are further analysed according to regulations / specifications and results assessed and processed.
